In Remembrance:

The Mermaid Tears Sea glass Festival members are saddened by the passing of one of our long time volunteers, Yvette M. Sheehan (1940 – 2021). Yvette was a dedicated, willing and hard-working volunteer who loved seaglassing. Yvette had a quiet, kind and peaceful nature but when given a task completed it fully and cheerfully. Yvette was known to the local sea glass community as a “digger” in her search for sea glass and we would joke that one day she would dig her way to China. Rest in peace Yvette. You will be missed.
